Ericka S. Perron

Paralegal

Ericka Perron joined Johnson Jensen after more than 15 years in the legal field, bringing with her a depth of experience shaped by her work in intellectual property and entertainment law. A Butler University graduate, she later completed master’s-level coursework in Public Relations at IUPUI.

Her path into the legal world began with her love of the arts. While working as the administrator for a Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts organization, she was recruited by a music and entertainment law firm and soon discovered an overlap of many of her passions and interests. A classically trained upright bassist, the work felt like home from the start.

She first crossed paths with Travis while filing a copyright for his Billy Joel cover band, and they stayed connected over the years. When the opportunity to join Johnson Jensen arose, the transition felt effortless. Ericka values the genuine camaraderie of her team and the rare combination of skill, compassion, and good humor that defines the firm.

For Ericka, the most meaningful part of her role is the chance to be a steady presence for clients during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. A lifelong learner, she approaches every case with curiosity, care, and an appreciation that no two cases are ever the same.

Outside of work, her world revolves around her family. She and her husband stay busy keeping up with their two young boys, whether on the soccer field or out on the water. She still plays bass for fun, enjoys powerlifting, loves to cook and garden, and dotes on her Italian Greyhound, Pip. Thoughtful, grounded, creative, and endlessly curious, Ericka brings heart and expertise to every project she supports at Johnson Jensen.
