For Bob Johnson, co-founder of Johnson Jensen, personal injury law wasn’t something he sought out—it found him. During his first clerkship in law school, what began as a simple introduction to the legal field quickly revealed his natural affinity for helping individuals during their most challenging times. That discovery set the course for a career spanning more than 30 years, during which Bob has skillfully combined his investigative instincts with a heartfelt commitment to helping others.
Now in his fourth decade as a plaintiffs’ personal injury attorney, Bob has represented over 2,000 clients across a wide range of personal injury and wrongful death cases. His experience includes automobile collisions, trucking incidents, motorcycle collisions, and medical malpractice claims throughout Indiana. Known for his empathetic support and relentless pursuit of justice, Bob ensures every client receives the care and representation they deserve.
Bob’s dedication to his clients is grounded in his guiding principle: “Do what’s best for the client.” His commitment extends beyond the courtroom to his leadership in the legal community. As the 2025 President of the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association and the 2017 Indiana Trial Lawyer of the Year, Bob has earned the respect of his peers through his steadfast advocacy and service.
A proud alumnus of Miami University and the Indiana University McKinney School of Law, Bob values life outside the courtroom as well. An avid outdoorsman, he finds joy fishing on the White River, exploring new travel destinations, and spending time with his three adult daughters. His loyal Goldendoodle, Jed, often accompanies him to the office, embodying the welcoming and personal approach Bob brings to his practice.
